Options in Thermi Aesthetics

ThermiDry – ThermiDry uses RF energy to treat a medical conditon known as hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating. This condition affects approximately 2-3 percent of the general population in the U.S. and can cause signficant social embarassment and physical discomfort. ThermiDry targets the sweat glands under the arms, disabling them so they are no longer able to produce sweat. Just one treatment offers long-lasting results.
ThermiRase – ThermiRase uses toxin-free RF energy to erase vertical lines between the brow known as “frown lines.” This procedure works in a similar fashion to injectable treatments that relax facial muscles that lead to the formation of these creases. ThermiRase provides noticeable reduction in the wrinkles without compromising your ability to make facial expressions.
ThermiTight – Skin laxity is a common complaint over time – in fact, it is as much of a concern as facial lines and wrinkles for some people. ThermiTight is a non-surgical method of skin tightening that smoothes away some of those lines while giving skin a firmer, tighter appearance. A small probe delivers targeted RF energy to the underlying skin structure, constricting the tissue while stimulating collagen production. About the Procedure and Results
All of the Thermi Aesthetics procedures are performed in our office on an outpatient basis. Some may involve a local anesthesia, but general anesthesia is never used for these treatments. A handheld applicator, customized to each treatment type, is used to deliver the RF energy to the treatment area. Treatments usually take one hour or less, but larger treatment areas may require a bit more time.
After your Thermi treatment, you can return to your regular activities right away. Some patients may experience mild skin redness, swelling or sorenss after the procedure, but these side effects will resolve quickly. Results of Thermi treatments are usually seen right away and will continue to improve in the days and weeks following your procedure. Most patients will achieve full results from a single Thermi treatment, which may last a number of months or even years in some cases.
